The sun is shining bright, school is out, and the days are long—June is here, and with it comes the joy of Eid al-Adha! It’s a time for celebration, sharing, and remembering the beautiful story of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him).

This month in Atlasia Kids, we’re also slowing down to explore a surprising summer secret: aestivation! While we cool off with lemonade or a splash in the pool, some animals take an even more dramatic approach—they nap through the heat! In our Zoom section, you'll meet frogs that burrow underground with their skin as a blanket, turtles that hide in mud, and fish that can sleep through dry seasons—all thanks to Allah, Al-Hakeem, the All-Wise, who perfectly designed their ways of surviving.

These sleepy strategies aren't laziness—they’re smart, peaceful ways to wait for better days. Just like animals rest with purpose, we too can pause, reflect, and recharge during the sunny days of summer.
